India is a country which experiences a tropical climate.

The houses in the rural areas are mostly made of mud, and people mostly wear light coloured cotton clothes.

This is because, in warm climate areas, mud houses act as excellent modes to keep the inner temperatures cool. The clothes of cotton also serve the same purpose.
