Aryabhatta
One of the most ancient indian mathematicians. Discoverer of the number zero.he was not only a mathematician but was an astronomer too.Aryabhata is also reputed to have set up an observatory at the Sun temple in Taregana, Bihar.

Srinivasa Ramanujam 
Born in erode, Tamil Nadu in a tamil iyengar family.Ramanujan had conducted his own mathematical research onBernoulli numbers and the Euler–Mascheroni constant. His birthday is celebrated as national mathematics day in india. His birthdate is December 22.

Lakshminarayanan mahadevan
he is an indian american mathematician and a scientist.
He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and then received an M.S from the University of Texas at Austin, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1995.he was a professor in the Massachusetts institute of technology and now he is teaching in the harvard.

SRINIVAS RAMANUJAN : Was a remarkable genius in mathematics. Due to poverty he could not receive education in University but he was invited to Cambridge in 1914 where he worked in collaboration with Proffesor H.G.Hardy. His researches were mostly in the theory of numbers.

BRAHMAGUPTA : He had one of the most remarkable contribution to the field of maths. He was the person who introduced zero(0) which meant “nothing”.

ARYABHATA : He is considered as one of the most greatest Indian mathematician. He has formulated the first 10 decimal places and gave algorithms for obtaining square and cubic roots, utilizing the decimal number system. He also Founded geometric measurements and applied Pythagoras theorem to find the values of the table of Sine.
