independence day is celebrated on 15 of August every year. This day our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the national flag on the Red Fort.

This day the Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort. Then the national anthem is sung and afterwards there are many programs which the Indians and the Indian soldiers perform.

this is a day of our pride as well as the day when we remember the martyr soldiers who died for freedom from the British government
