Mangal Pandey:
He was a sepoy at Barrackpore. He refused to use the new cartridges that were greased with animal skin(was a rumour.. and never confirmed) and attacked his senior officers. For this reason he was hanged to death.
Nanasaheb Peshwa:
He was the adopted son of Peshwa Baji Rao II (a pensioner of British). He was denied a pension after his father's death.
Tatya Tope:
He was the brilliant general and commander of Nana Saheb. He helped Nana Saheb and then joined Rani Lakshmibai(The queen of Jhansi) to gain control over Gwalior. But later, he was caught and hanged.
NOTE: The common thing between these three personalities is that they all were a part of the Revolt Of 1857.
Hope this helps!!
