We can detect food adulterants by using simple methods. In everyday life, we are using so many things in that milk is the common food so we can detect adulterants in milk by using small methods.

Milk:

If the milk turns yellow color when we heated, and leaves a soapy kind of layer on top gives a bitter taste. It is the sign of an adulterant food that means milk is spoiled.

Turmeric powder:

This is also a common food when we added a few drops of HCl to this powder it will turn into pink, purple or violet color this confirms adulterants.

So the turmeric powder is spoiled.
