injury to medulla oblongata results in death
as it controls the activities of the internal organs.. example-peristaltic movement of the alimentary canal, movement of breathing etc so any injury to it is an injury to the internal organs. hope it help!

medulla present in our brain that cause nearly death. because medulla and pons have breathing centre of our body. these also control sleep-wake,uncosiousness,vomiting, eqillibirium in our body.
brain diseases cause death.it also controlof blood pressure,respiration and heart rate in our body.
