Innovations in cricket techniques in the recent years have come from Indian subcontinent. 
Pakistan has forged two great progresses in bowling: the doosra and the ‘reverse swing’. Both these techniques were in keeping with the conditions of the subcontinent. 
Initially both these techniques were looked upon with great deal of skepticism by England and Australia. But later on, it came to be accepted that the game of cricket cannot be only played in accordance with the British or Australian conditions, and such techniques were adopted by bowlers from every country.
