Inorder to avoid oxidation of tungsten the electric bulb is made evacuated. Why?

because even in ancient time too the problem of oxidation so we need a tube without air(vaccum) but it is a bit hard so the founder of real bulb swan failed and Edison passed but today we use argon instead of vaccum which makes bulb easy to make and also not cause chemical reaction as argon is a non reactive zero element.
