Input and output devices are also known as (I/O) devices.

Input Devices:-

• They are those devices which are used to enter data in the computer. That is, the devices which enter content in the computer to process it are called input devices.
• Eg. Mouse, Keyboard, Printer, Microphone, WEB CAM, etc.

Output Devices:-

• These are the devices through which the processed data is given out/shown, in other words, the devices which give the output of the processed data.
• Eg. Speaker, Projector, etc.
