Insect pollinated flowers produce fewer and larger pollen grains than the wind pollinated flowers. Why?

Less because insects are much more efficient pollinators than the wind. large because when size of pollen grains is large it is easier to carry or to hold for insects. With wind pollination, it's a matter of luck that any pollen reaches another flower of the same species and its size is small in case of wind pollination so that it can easily flow with wind.
