Insectivorous plants called partial heterotrophs. Do you agree? Justify in brief.​

Insectivorous plants prepare food by themselves, but they lack some of the vital nutrients such as nitrogen since they grow in soil where nitrogen is deficient. They eat some insects and thus make up for these nutrients. Hence they are said to be partial heterotrophs.

Heterotrophic organism are the organism which obtain food from other organisms, in the case of insectivorous plants they secrete nectar to attract insects or other small animals , by which they fulfil their nutrition requirement , they can make their food but still require nutrients which they get from insects .So these plants are partial heterotropics .
