 insectivorous plants photosynthesize, still,why do they feed on insects?

Plants get nutrients from soil by their root where as insectivorous plants have poor root system so they get nutrients from insects.

they are green and otherwise autotorophic plant which behave like heterotrophic organisms for supplementing their nitrogen supply through catching and digesting small like organisms ex. of insectivorous plant is Nepenthes,Utricularia
