First we will find the lcm of both the denominators
lcm = 24
3/8= 3×3/8×3= 9/24
7/12 7×2/12×2= 14/24
Now you can choose any of the two rational no. between 9 and 24
thank you

First of all we have to make their denominators same .
Let's take their LCM ( Least Common Multiple ) :
LCM of 8 and 12 is 24 .

3×3/8×3=9/24 .

7×2/12×2=14/24 .

Now you can insert rational numbers between them.
3/8 , 10/24 , 11/24 , 12/24 , 7/12 .

¥ Heya ! There are infinite numbers between two rational numbers .

Rational numbers are those numbers which are in the form of p/q where p and q both are integers , q is not equal to 0.

Always remember that for insirting some numbers between two rational numbers you have to make their denominators same .....
