To find : 4 rational numbers between \frac{4}{5}  and \frac{6}{3}

Solution :

  • According question we have to find rational numbers between \frac{4}{5}  and \frac{6}{3}for this we need to equalize denominators of the rational numbers by taking LCM .
  • Therefore , LCM = 15
  • Now , multiplying numerators by same numbers as multiplied by denominator to make LCM .
  • We get , \frac{4}{5} = \frac{4\times 3}{15}  = \frac{12}{15}   and   \frac{6}{3} = \frac{6\times 5}{15} = \frac{30}{15}
  • Now , we can find rational numbers between \frac{12}{15} and  \frac{30}{15}
  • They are : \frac{13}{15} , \frac{14}{15} , \frac{15}{15} , \frac{16}{15}

Hence , 4 rational numbers between \frac{4}{5}  and \frac{6}{3} are \frac{13}{15} , \frac{14}{15} , \frac{15}{15} , \frac{16}{15} .
