Answer:

for the 4 terms inserted between 2 and 22 to be in A.P.  ,  we need to find the arithmetic mean.

But here if we find the arithmetic mean we will get only 3 nos. such that these 3 nos.  , 2 and 22 are in sequence .But we need 4 terms .

So let us add 4 to 2 and 4 to each subsequent terms .

1st term=2+4=6

2nd term=6+4=10

3rd term=10+4=14

4th term=14+4=18

last term = 18+4 =22

Hence , 6,10,14,18 are the required numbers.
