FOLLOWING ARE THE SOLUTIONS :

1) - 3 / 8 and 5 / 8.

Since , 6 + 1 = 7

Therefore the denominators will be multiplied by 7.

After solving we'll get ,

- 21 / 56 and 35 / 56.

The numbers lying between them will be the rational numbers. You can select any 6.

ANSWER : - 21 / 56 , - 20 / 56 , - 19 / 56 , - 18 / 56 , - 17 / 56 , - 16 / 56 , - 15 / 56 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 35 / 56.

2)  3 / 2 and 5 / 3.

First of all , we'll make the denominators same by taking their L.C.M.

So , 3 * 3 / 2 * 3 and 5 * 2 / 3 * 2

= 9 / 6 and 10 / 6

Multiply the denominator and the numerator by 7 as 6 + 1 = 7

i.e. 9 * 7 / 6 * 7 and 5 * 7 / 6 * 7

= 63 / 42 and 35 / 42.

Write the numbers lying between these.

ANSWER : 35 / 42 , 36 / 42 , 37 / 42 , 38 / 42 , 39 / 42 , 40 / 42 , 41 / 42  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 63 / 42.

3 ) 5 and 7.

= 5 / 1 and 7 / 1

Since , 6 + 1 = 7.

Therefore , both the denominators should be multiplied by 7

i.e. 5 * 7 / 1 * 7 and 7 * 7 / 1 * 7.

= 35 / 7 and 49 / 7

Write the numbers lying between them.

ANSWER : 35 / 7 , 36 / 7 , 37 / 7 , 38 / 7 , 39 / 7 , 40 / 7 , 41 / 7 - - - - - - - - - - - - 49 / 7.

HOPE IT HELPED.. :))
