First we make the denominator same,

We multiply numerator and denominator of \frac{1}{2} by 4,

\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1\times 4}{2\times 4}=\frac{4}{8}

Then multiply numerator and denominator both numbers by 7,

\frac{4}{8}=\frac{4\times 7}{8\times 7}=\frac{28}{56}

\frac{5}{8}=\frac{5\times 7}{8\times 7}=\frac{35}{56}

Now, the numbers between 28 and 35 are 29,30,31,32,33,34.

Six rational number between \frac{28}{56} and \frac{35}{56}

  \bold{are  \: \frac{29}{56},\frac{30}{56},\frac{31}{56},\frac{32}{56},\frac{33}{56},\frac{34}{56}}

Therefore, the six rational number between \frac{1}{2} and \frac{5}{8}

 \bold{ are  \: \frac{29}{56},\frac{30}{56},\frac{31}{56},\frac{32}{56},\frac{33}{56},\frac{34}{56}}
