To take out an irrational number;

a =  \sqrt{2}  = 1.4142135624... \\ b =  \sqrt{3}  = 1.7320508076... \\

Here, a < b

So,

c =  \: 1.7020508076...

Note : You can take out any irrational number but it should end with .... ( dots ) and should lie between a and b
