so the basic property of GM is that the ratio between two successive terms are the same.
Keep this in mind always to verify the answers.

so if the numbers have a GM then they are in a GP.
So the numbers will be 486, 486*r, 486*r^2, 486*r^3, 486*r^4, 486*r^5, 2/3

486*r^6 = 2/3   {from the question} 
r^6 = 1/729

solving for r we get , r= 1/3
so the numbers are 
486
486*1/3= 162
486*1/9= 54
486*1/27= 18
486*1/81= 6
486*1/243= 2
2/3
