Answer:

First we take -2 as -2/1 and -3 as -3/1

Now we multiply the numerator and denominator by a common number so that the numbers have a greater difference

I will be mutiplying the numerator and denominator by 5

So,

-10/5

and

-15/5

So four rational numbers between would be

-11/5, -12/5, -13/5 -14/5

Hope this helps u :)

Answer:

A rational number between -2 and -3 is 1 ÷ 2 x (-2 + -3) = -2.5

A rational number between -2 and -2.5 = 1 ÷ 2 x {-2 + -2.5} = -2.25

A rational number between -2.5 and -3 = 1 ÷ 2 x {-2.5 + -3} = -2.75

A rational number between -2.25 and -3 = 1 ÷ 2 x {-2.25 + -3} = -2.625

Hence, -2.5, -2.25, -2.75 and -2.625 are four rational numbers lying between -2 and -3.
