at first write -1 and 4 in fraction form i.e p/q.
-1 =-1/1 and 4 written as 4/1.
now if we have to find six rational number we have to multiply it by 7 on both numerator and denomerator.
-1×7/1×7=-7/7
4×7/1/7= 28/7

as we see we have many numbers .
-6/7, -5/7, -4/7, 1/7, 3/7,5/7,11/7,10/7...
