Question :-

insert the missing number :

  • 196 (25) 324
  • 329 (?) 137

Solution :-

we have to Find the logic of first , and apply same in second .

As we can see that, Both 196 and 324 are Square numbers . first logic we have in mind is to find Square root of them and than we try to make the numbers as 25.

So,

Square root of 196 = 14

→ Square root of 324 = 18

Now , with 14 and 18, it is difficult to get the result as 25 .

And, when we see Numbers of next 329 and 137 , these are also not a perfect Square .

So, This Logic Fails.

___________

Lets Try to Multiply the digits Now,

→ 196 = 1*9*6 = 54

→ 324 = 3*2*4 = 24

Subtracting them Now,

→ 54 - 24 = 30

We didn't get 25, if we subtract 5 from 30, we have to do same in next .

Apply same in Next Now :-

→ 329 = 3*2*9 = 54

→ 137 = 1*3*7 = 21

Subtracting them ,

→ 54 - 21 = 33

Now, we have to subtract 5 from 33 also,

→ 33 - 5 = 28 .

if 28 is in Option it will be the Answer.

________________

Lets Try the Addition Now :-

→ 196 = 1 + 9 + 6 = 16

→ 324 = 3 + 2 + 4 = 9

Adding the result again,

→ 16 + 9 = 25 (Satisfy).

This Logic Seems Better .

We will Do same in Next Now :-

→ 329 = 3 + 2 + 9 = 14

→ 137 = 1 + 3 + 7 = 11

Adding the result Now,

→ 14 + 11 = 25.

Hence, if 25 is in option , it will be the Answer.

Complete Question:

196(25)324

329( )137

1) 40

2) 35.

3) 25

4) 15

Given :

196 (25) 324

329 ( ) 137

To find :

Insert the missing number:

Solution:

Let's, find out the logic behind the given numbers of the first set

196 (25) 324

=> Add the numbers that are outside of the bracket.

=> 1+9+6 = 16

=> 3+2+4 = 9

Now, Add 16+9= 25.

So, 196 (25) 324.

Now, apply the same method for the second set.

=> 329 ( ) 137

=> 3+2+9 = 14

=> 1+3+7 = 11

Now, Add 14+11 = 25.

329 (25) 137

Hence, Option -(C) = 25 is the required answer.
