Let A1, A2 & A3 be three arithmetic means between 3 &19.

Then,

3, A1, A2,A3, 19 will be in AP

Total no. of terms = 5

a= 3

=) 3+4d= 19

=) 4d= 19-3

=)4d= 16

=)d= 16/4

=)d= 4

So,

A1= a+d= 3+4= 7

A2= a+ 2d= 3+ 8 = 11

A3= a+3d

=) a + 3(4)

=) 3+ 12 = 15

=> 19 = 3 + (5 - 1) d

=> 19 - 3 = 4 d

=> 16 = 4 d

=> d = 16/4

=> d = 4

So , the arithmetic means are 3 , 7 , 11 ,15 , 19 .
