• Firstly make the denominator same.

LCM of 2 and 4 is 4.

$\to \bf \dfrac{-1}{2}$

$\to \bf \dfrac{-1 \times 2}{2 \times 2}$

$\to \bf \red{\dfrac{-2}{4}}$

And,

$\to \bf \dfrac{-3}{4}$

$\to \bf \dfrac{-3 \times 1}{4 \times 1}$

$\to \bf \red {\dfrac{-3}{4}}$

• Multiply the numerator & denominator of both fractions with 100.

$\to \bf \dfrac{-2 \times 1}{4 \times 1}$

→ $\bf \dfrac{-2 \times 100 }{4 \times 100 }$

→ $\bf \dfrac{-200 }{400 }$

And,

$\to \bf \dfrac{-3 \times 1}{4 \times 1}$
