Rational numbers between 3/8 and 7/12
1. First find the LCM of the denominators
   LCM of 3/8 and 7/12 is 24
2. Make the denominators same by multiplying  3/8 with 3/3 and 7/12 with 2/2 to make the denominator 24
3. Now we will get 9/24 and 14/24
4. We want 2 rational numbers so we will multiply both numerators and denominators with 3       (2 (we want) + 1 )
5.Now we will get 27/72 and 47/72
6.All the rational numbers which comes between them are the rational number which comes between 3/8 and 7/12
7. we can pick any two of them, for eg 28/72 and 30/72

By repeting this process we can also find rational numbers between 1/3 and 1/5
