FORMULAE : 1/2(M+N) (where m and n are 2 rational numbers.)
1st number:
1/2(3/8+7/12)
=1/2(9/24+14/24)
=1/2×23/24=23/48...(i)
2nd number:
Between 3/8 and 23/48
1/2(3/8+23/48)
=1/2(18/48+23/48)
=1/2×41/48
=41/96...(ii)
Hence, 23/48 and 41/96 are two rational numbers.
