Then x<y and n=5

y−x

=

5+1

8.4−4.6

=0.63

So, the 5 rational no. between 4.6 and 8.4 are

∴(x+d),(x+2d),(x+3d),(x+4d) and (x+5d)

i.e., (4.6+0.63),(4.6+1.26),(4.6+1.89),(4.6+2.52) and (4.6+3.15)
