INSOLUBLE SOLID SUBSTANCES WHICH ARE HEAVIER THAN LIQUIDS CAN BE SEPARATED BY???IF ANYBODY IS IN SIXTH CLASS AND IN THE SCIENCE BOOK THERE IS A CHAPTER SEPARATION OF SUBSTANCES CAN PLEASE TELL ME.I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL.

Such insoluble solid substances can be separated by the process of Sedimentation . In this process , the liquid is suspended and left undisturbed for some time . The heavier portion gradually sinks down to the bottom leaving upwards the pure liquid.
