Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the number= N

When the number N multiply by 4/5 then the result will be= 4N/5

When the number N divided by 4/5 then the result will be= 5N/4

Now,

4N/5 = 5N/4 - 36

or, 4N/5 - 5N/4 = -36

or, (16N - 25N) /20 = -36

or, - 9N /20 = -36

or, - 9N = -36*20

or, N = 720/9

So so= 80

Answer: 80
