Maglev (derived from magnetic levitation) is a system of train transportation that uses two sets of magnets, one set to repel and push the train up off the track, then another set to move the 'floating train' ahead at great speed taking advantage of the lack of friction.

Answer:
It is the interaction between the magnetic field created by electromagnets at the bottom of the train and the magnetic field resulting from the arrangement of rails that the train raises a little above and move forward fast. since no contact is there between the train and the rails there exists no friction.
