Instead of Teaching us grammar which is of not much benifit to us(i am referring to some of the grammar we learnt in grades 6th, 7th and 8th) i think cbse should emphasize on the basic grammar mostly. I think that they should introduce english is which we actually learn how to speak, write essaysand articles, converse properly, pronounce words properly, know how to use the perfect tense etc. English should not be a subject in which we learn Q A stuff, we learn the grammar rules for an exam and then we forget it. Even today many students do not use the correct tense and pronounciation and are not able to deliver a speech. after we grow up english will be used to converse as it is an international language and at that time what we need is the art of speaking and not the in-depth grammar that we learn. Whoever agrees, please give your commments and opinions whether it is correct or not !!! cheers. your concerned friend !!

I agree with you. Actually board students need a lot of grammar tips and proper explanations instead of questions. My workbook consists full of questions and it does not contain any useful information.
