Option C is correct.

Rama told me that I would be rewarded.

Direct and Indirect speech

  • When we describe what someone said in exactly the same manner, we use direct speech. The words are enclosed in between inverted commas.
  • For example, Rahul said to me, "I was sick yesterday."
  • When we use our own words to describe what someone said, we use indirect speech. Inverted commas are not used in indirect speech.
  • For example, Rahul told me that he was sick the previous day.
