Below instruments are based on law of flotation.
- Ships: Any ships, boats, canoes can float over water. They float because they are hollow inside and displace their weight in the water.
- Hot air Balloon: A balloon filled with hydrogen gas or helium gas can also float in the air. It just displaces the amount of air. As long as the weight of the gas and balloon layer is lighter than the air, it floats.
