Before getting into the question let me tell you that, Error can be divided into two broad classifications:


1.Gross Error and 2.Random Error


We can eliminate Gross errors but after elimination of that there still exist some error which is not possible to be eliminated but reduced to some extent, that is called as Random Error.


Instumental falls under the first category i.e. Gross Error.


We can define it as the difference of the actual value and value shown by the instrument.


Therefore, Instrumental error can be minimised by taking average of large number of readings.


Hence option A is correct.
