2. The 1st chain contains 21 Amino Acid. The 2nd chain contains 30 Amino acids (total 51 Amino acids)

3. The 1st chain is called Phenyl-alanine chain, whereas the 2nd chain is Glycine chain.

4. The chains are connected by Di-sulphide bonds. [ S ---S linkage]

5. Total 3 Di-sulphide linkages are present { 2 inter-chain linkages and 1 intra-chain linkage}

6. It's sequence was discovered by Frederick Sanger.
