simple.
....forget that there is any decimal and do whatever the question asked to do and after that put decimal by adding the number of decimals....
ex...2.3×2.3...forget point
and multiply 23×23=529 and after it add no of decimal = 2 decimal points .3 and .3 make 2 decimal point 3. so you know that there is two decimal ponts.so,now add decimal ponts to number 5.23.point is given after 5 because there is 2 numbers after 5 and we have to place 2 decimal points.
