integration of princely state was one of the most challenging task.At that time they want their state independent unaware that someone were going to take their independence for a much longer time.It was more challenging because integration of cultures,socities and much more is not an easy task.Until there is no other way left then to integration.some were fear that  they may lost their power,prestige and fame etc..Some because of their own other interests.After much later when they realize only way left is to show their brotherhood or for their nation they have to do it.they did,in result we got independence
