Intelligence is rational thinking is a definition that was coined by Robert Sternberg. He further subdivide intelligence into two, that is, practical intelligence and analytic intelligence. Practical intelligence is the intelligence needed in order to adapt to an environment while analytic intelligence on the other hand is the workings that are undertaken in order to express intelligence.
