Explanation:

1)The main character was a lawyers by profession he could not even serve summons. He was too naive and less intelligent because even when being with Oliver lutkins he could not identify him

2) Oliver lutkins did not have a reputable profession but still he was a master planner and master manipulator. He grabbed money from lutkins and also avoided the summons in a clever way
