that because the climate plevaling there is good and the demand for the production is great as it is thickly populated

I think from your description the areas have thickly population ,from my knowledge ,such areas are highly populated and therefore there is shortage of land

With increase in population ,there is pressure on productive land ,there is no land to support large scale farming hence intensive subsistence agriculture
