Answer:

TRUE

Explanation:

  • Rh is a short form of an indication that the RBC cells contain a special type of protein in its membrane which is used for recognition of the bodies own RBC's by WBC's.

  • Rh+ states it contains that protein
  • Rh- states it doesn't contain that protein

  • WBC use this as a marker of differentiating between own cells and different cells.

  • If a person is Rh+ and is injected too much Rh- blood then the WBC's will break that foreign RBC blood corpuscule and a large amount of destroyed RBC particles will interfere with kidneys filtration system and resulting in kidney failure. Which could be fatal.

  • Also there is a drawback for the second baby of a couple whose father is Rh+ and mother in Rh-. The second baby of them will die due to Erythroblastis foetalis.

  • Erythroblastis foetalis is a problem where the WBC's of mother starts destroying the RBC's of the child (mostly second). This happens because child's blood is Rh+ due to father and mother's blood is Rh-
