position of image is:

  • Image is real
  • Imagec is inverted
  • Image is fomed at 2F
  • Image is same size as of an object

we \: have \: f =  - 20cm \: (it \: is \: a \: concave \: mirror) \\ object \: distance = u =  - 20cm \\  \\ then \: using \: mirror \: formula \\  \\  \frac{1}{f}  =  - \frac{1}{v}  -  \frac{1}{u}  \\  =  > -  \frac{1}{20}  =  \frac{1}{v}  - ( -  \frac{1}{20} ) \\  =  >  -  \frac{1}{20}  =  \frac{1}{v}   +  \frac{1}{20}  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{v}  =  -  \frac{1}{20}  -  \frac{1}{20}  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{ - 1 - 1}{20}  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{v}  =   - \frac{  2}{20}  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{v}  =  -  \frac{1}{10}   \\  =  > v =  - 10

hence the position of image is at a distance of 10 cm in front of the mirror. the image is real and inverted.
