Internal selection is a quick process as compared to external selection. As the employees are selected from within the organization, they are familiar with the work culture and rules and regulations of the organization therefore, induction training is not required which saves time and money.

Internal selection requires a lot of data pertaining to the employees to make proper assessment and evaluation.

Internal selection decisions boost the morale of the employees and well-motivated employees can prove to be an asset to the organization. Though it restricts the choice to employees of the organization only due to which new talent does not enter the organization.
