In internal structure all four chamber are seen. The upper left auricle nd right auricle divided by interauricular septum. Similarly both left ventricle nd right ventricle divided by inter ventricular septum. Semilunar valve present in pulmonary artery nd carotic systemic arota valve prevent the back flow of blood in the heart. Right auricle open into the right ventricle by tricuspid valve has three flaps nd left auricle open into left ventricle guarded by bicuspid valve it is also called mitral valve...

HUMAN HEART :

》Human Heart is mesodermal in origin.

》It is located in the thoracic cavity between the lungs.

》It is protected by pericardium which is a double walled membrane enclosing pericardial fluid.

》Our heart consists of four chambers - two upper chambers called atria and two lower chambers called ventricles.

》A thick walled septum called the inter-ventricular septum separates the left and right ventricles.

》A thin septum called inter-atrial septum separates right and left atria.

》Atrioventricular septum separates the atria and the ventricle of the same side.

》Bicuspid Valve regulates the opening between the left atrium and left ventricle.

》Tricuspid Valve regulates the opening between the right atrium and right ventricle.

FUNCTION :

● The function of Heart is to pump oxygenated blood to all the parts of our body and also to pump the deoxygenated blood from lungs to heart.
