Sitting for long in front of the computer reduces the time for physical activity and make them not to play outside. It can also make the students isolate themselves from the rest of the world by always locking themselves up in their rooms and thus loosening their social connections.
The usage of the internet affects children psychologically because they are exposed to both good and bad information. They can be exposed to highly violent games and programs. This results in more aggressive behaviors, bullying of others and even becoming robbers. In addition, the constant use of hateful messages on the internet, the presence of pornographic videos and insults affects the mind leading to addiction and other negative vices.
