Internet is a global communication medium in which millions of computers are interconnected. Internet is very useful in  ones life and living without internet is a very hard task. There are many advantages and disadvantages, some of them are:

advantages:

• we can get access to lot of new websites and learn new things.

• internet has made life easy. we can order anything online sitting at home.

• we can access our loved ones through skype or whatsapp if they are far away from us.

• if we have any doubts we can access internet and get instant solutions.

• if we are in emergency we can spread news in internet, it will spread so fast

Disadvantages:

• mislead of opening wrong emails can lead to virus in the computers.

• black hat hackers can hack and get to know your personal data if you go into wrong website.

• some websites lead to child pornography which is not being taken into action.

• internet has made everyone lazy.

• there are some fake messages in internet about lottery where people get to know about your details.

Advantages:

1. Now a days online education is possible because of Internet .
2. We can send birthday greeting cards through the internet.
3. Before making any purchases, we can check online for user reviews of the products that we intend to buy.
4. .We can use social media applications on our personal computer and mobile devices. In this way, we can reconnect to our old school friends.
5. We can gather information for new job openings. We can also apply online for jobs.

Disadvantages:

1. Somewhere the emotional connect between people are missing.
2. We feel helpless when the internet connection is down.
3. Our life is moving at the pace of internet. We seldom spare few moments of peace for us.
4. We always remain engaged with many online activities such as checking emails, socializing, chatting, online shopping, business-deals We don’t get time to rest.
5. Cyber crime like financial crimes,online gambling,email spoofing,forgery are increased.
