Interparticle change s between solid s and liqui

HEYY!! MY DEAR FRIEND HOPE IT HELPS.

The particles of matter experience an interparticulate change when they undergo processes like sublimation, evaporation etc.

When a matter is solid, the particles are more tightly packed, close to each other. they restrict movement and do not change shape.

Whereas in liquid, the particles of matter are more lenient when it comes to movement. they are more loosely packed and can change shape easily.

If particles change from solid to liquid it is generally termed as melting.

But, if particles change from liquid to solid it is called freezing.

And if directly changes from solid to gas it is sublimation.

I hope this gives you a better understanding of the topic and are able to improve your knowledge. Always glad to be of any help.
