Ohms Law which is a mathematical equation explaining the relationship between Voltage, Current, and Resistance within electrical circuits and is the foundation of electronics and electrical engineering.

Ohm's Law is defined as: V = IR.

As the power is the rate of the electric work done

P = VQ/t, but we know that Q/t = I

⇒ P= V I

But according to Ohm's law, V = IR and Q/t = I

⇒ P= IR × I

⇒ P= I²R
