We interviewed 5 Muslim families and found out that the most important part of marriage functions is the Nikkah part, where the couple is officialy declared as husband and wife in the presence of a muslim scholar. Two functions are adapted by all muslims, one is Nikkah and other is Walima function(a dinner function organised from Husband side). However to celebrate marriage, a pre wedding function known as Mehdi is also practiced by Muslim community
