Me: I see that you are in uniform and your name badge says ‘Kavitha Singh’. Where do you work Ma’am?
K: I am based at Ahmednagar and am a Captain with the 67th Armoured Regiment of the Indian Army. I have been working with the Regiment since 2014.
Me: What motivated you to join the Indian Armed Forces?
K: I have had this dream of being part of the Indian Army since my high school days. So, I worked hard to achieve this dream.
Me: Any memorable experiences while working with the Forces?
K: I was involved in operations during the Kargil War and that was the most memorable experience, to date.
Me: What will be your message for the youth, Ma’am?
K: Be proud of your country.
